the song that Charlie Sang

He picked up his guitar and this is the song that he sang:

you bought your one way ticket out of here/
and this road you you've taken is not mine/
because we were over looking every sign/
yours is winding and straight away out of this town/
i try to forget but I'm still watching your back as you walked that day/
and every mistake, so no matter what path I take
we're still standing on the tracks to that train
I'm looking through the rain as far as I was can see
all my roads lead to you and wherever you might be

Chorus
I'm climbing out of our silence/
losing every map we ever drew/
crossing every bridge you left to burn/
even if i try to run ([alternate]wherever I turn)/
I find every road I take still leads me to you.

you are gone, empty there on your street
I'm stuck here dying unable to move my feet
You're still erasing every step you take, every line.
and I try to ignore the smudges left behind
what is worse is how the road gets hard to see
when I'm searching the pages where you used to be
and every mistake, so no matter what path I take
we're still standing on the tracks to that train
I'm looking through the rain as far as I was can see
all my roads lead to you ...even if you try to lose me
